Easy Enterprise File Access from Any Device

Access to files is the first step to file sharing. With its apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, as well as its web app, Cortado offers state-of-the-art tools in this area. In addition, documents remain where they were before the implementation of Cortado – on the company’s central file server. Employees can access all existing documents, while all rights and compliance rules are fully adhered to. This allows documents to be easily shared with employees in the back office.

In this section you will learn how individual users or AD groups are assigned certain properties via the group templates. It will be specified, for example, to which network drives a user or a group of users will be granted access. Furthermore, it will also be shown how the settings for the Cortado app, the Windows app and the web app were made. While on the go, employees can also access the desktop features they need with their tablets and smartphones. With the Cortado app, the Windows app and the web app they can conveniently manage files for example, preview data-optimized files, open them for editing in other apps, export them as PDFs or even send them to printers. For example, via Smart Filing, files from the corporate network can be edited in parallel by several employees using their mobile devices and then saved back to their original location. In the process, the different versions are saved automatically.
